Lillian Bertha Richert (Combs)
December 9, 1933 – April 15, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian Richert, long-time resident of the Drayton Valley area, at Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the age of 88 years.
Lillian will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Marion (Gordon) Thomas, Alice Anderson and Lyle Combs; in-laws, Avolt (Hilda) Richert, Teresa Awrey and Carrol Richert; numerous special nieces and nephews, many extended family and friends.
Lil was predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur; parents, Mariette and Floyd Combs; sister, Donna and nephews, Kelvin Combs and Gene Chodak.
Lillian found great joy in spending time with Art, travelling and her friends. She had a great love for her church and the many life-long friendships made.
Funeral Services will be held at Church of God, 5004 49 Street, Drayton Valley, Alberta on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Leah Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made directly to STARS, Stollery Children’s Hospital or to the charity of one’s choice.
