Obituary of Donald Raymond Buchanan

Donald Buchanan April 20, 1959 – March 18, 2022 The family of Donald Buchanan are saddened to announce his passing at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre on Friday, March 18, 2022 at the age of 62 years. Don was an avid outdoorsman, and found great pleasure in fishing, quadding and campfires. These are all activities he especially loved when he was joined by his family. Don will forever be lovingly remembered by his wife, Doris Rust; children, Russell (Kelly) Buchanan, Ashley Cashin, Stephanie Rust (Mike) and Kristen (Steven) Banks; grandcgildren, Kianna, Ethan, Brooklyn, Elizabeth, Chloe, Oaklen, Bryden and Cade; siblings, Carolyne Buchanan (Dwight), Debbie Reynolds and Dea (Carl) Breau. Don’s presence will also be tremendously missed by many extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Donald and Waunita Buchanan and his son, Donald Buchanan. A time of visitation and viewing will take place on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 6pm – 8pm, in the Affinity Funeral Service Chapel, 5001 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta.
