Obituary of Gerald Erich Otten

Gerald Erich Otten January 9, 1964 – February 4, 2022 It is with incredible sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of an amazing father, brother, colleague and friend. Gerald Erich Otten of Kelowna, B.C. died on Friday, February 4, 2022 at the age of 58 years. Gerald was an exceedingly hard-working man. He was known to be quite mechanically inclined, and when not out on the job, he really enjoyed spending his time tinkering and fixing cars. In addition, he also found interest in science fiction and collecting antiques. He will forever be lovingly remembered by his son, Erich Otten; daughters, Leiah and Brooke Otten; sisters, Irma Pederson and Marita Otten; aunt, Ida Menz; cousins, Susanne, Angelika and Ing as well as by numerous extended family in Germany, friends and colleagues. He will be greatly missed. Gerald is predeceased by his parents, Werner and Adele.
