Obituary of Howard Grant Olsen

Howard Grant Olsen March 6, 1933 – February 15, 2022 It is with hearts filled with sadness but also gratitude for a life well lived that the family of Howard Olsen announce his passing in Red Deer, Alberta, on February 15, 2022, at the age of 88 years. Cherishing Howard’s life and the moments that are now memories, are his children, Grant Olsen (Kathie), Anneli Johnson and Anita Lambert (Clarence) and his grandchildren, Kristen, Steven, Shaun, Matthew, Kaeleigh and Joshua. Howard will also be lovingly remembered by his brother, John Olsen and sister Carolyn Nault. Howard was predeceased by his wife and best friend, Millie Olsen; grandson, Eric Olsen; daughter-in-law, Gail Olsen and son-in-law Dean Johnson. Howard was also predeceased by his parents, Einar and Florence Olsen. The family will always remember Howard’s incredible work ethic and integrity. Howard pursued excellence in all that he did, and always looked beyond himself in his service to family, friends and community. A man of his word and a man who put his words into action, Howard was always there for his family and his friends. His gentle and caring spirit will be missed, but never forgotten. A celebration of Howard’s life will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:00 pm, in the MacKenzie Conference Centre, 5737 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta.
